Our DESIGN Process
1. CONSULTATION
We will meet with you in your to assess the space and how it interacts with the rest of your home. We measure, take photos, ask questions, and listen intently to take a detailed brief and identify your project scope. We will then prepare a detailed fee proposal for you that outlines our services in detail.
2.CONCEPT DESIGN &
SPATIAL PLANNING
We will interpret the detailed brief from you, once we have established a design direction we will start by preparing a concept design presentation which includes look and feel imagery, preliminary material and finishes. If required for your project we will also propose a layout option for your space that enhances and aligns with your lifestyle and ensures a thought through layout plan.
3.MATERIAL & FINISHES SELECTION
Based on your brief and design direction we will select materiality for your project that starts from flooring, to tiles, to accent finishes and even down to the skirting profile if required. We ensure that the overall palate aligns with your vision and an overall harmonious aesthetic. All will be presented in a tailored presentation preferred in person so we can show you all sample finishes.
4. DESIGN
DEVELOPMENT
This is one of the biggest deisgn phase as part of our process, during this stage all of your feedback has been taken on board and we develop your design in detail with, finalised material selection creating 3D visualisation to help envision the end outcome. All will be presented in a presentation setting with material samples that are reflected in the design.
5. DOCUMENTATION PHASE
This phase involves preparing detailed drawings and schedules. The initial Tender set is used for builder pricing. Once a builder is appointed, the drawings are updated to form the final Construction set, providing all necessary information to accurately price and deliver the project
6. DESIGN
MANAGMENT
To ensure that our design vision will be implemented currently and any questions can be answered we offer a design management in which we come to site speak to the builder and construction team to answer any questions offer solutions were needed.
